Right now we are matching families and caregivers on Chicago’s Northshore (Winnetka, Wilmette, Kenilworth, Glencoe, Glenview, Northfield, Highland Park, Highwood, Lake Forest & Lake Bluff).

Since both Gabby & Katie, the co-founders of Village Roots, are both 3rd generation Northshore residents, we have both amassed a large network. Most of our applicants and referrals come from friends and through word of mouth.

Monday-Friday from 9-5! As a specialized nanny-family matchmaking service, we offer a personal touch that larger agencies can't. To ensure we give our full attention to every match, our regular office hours are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. While we're not available for calls on the weekends or after hours, we do make exceptions for time-sensitive matters with our current and past clients.

From application to match, we typically quote 2-4 weeks. However, it is completely dependent on our candidate pool, as we don’t want to rush a match that doesn’t fit.

We’re a small but mighty company with a large, trusted network to help back us up. Katie and Gabby have both worked as nannies and know just how integral they are to families. We take pride in our matches and have even made a handful before starting our business together! We also love what we do and look forward to helping both families and nannies alike.
